Our Services

Employment Readiness Program
We equip participants with the necessary skills to obtain and retain long term employment. Through our interactive workshops, the participant is afforded the opportunity to be successful in the workplace.
It has been established that employment can make a strong contribution to recidivism-reduction efforts because it refocuses individuals’ time and efforts on pro-social activities. Having a job also enables individuals to contribute income to their families, which can generate more personal support, stronger positive relationships, enhanced self-esteem, and improved mental health.

Family Advocacy Program
The participants in the TEN program can take part in TEN’s Family Advocacy Program. We respond to the concerns and questions of parents, grandparents, and others who may be affected by the child welfare system. We provide thorough information and advocate for our most qualified participants who need support with navigating the child welfare and/or juvenile justice system. Through our Family Advocacy Program we also host a variety of child friendly activities and events for children of justice involved participants and their families.

Mentorship Program
The participants in The Empowerment Network can engage in our mentorship program. Participants can expect to meet weekly depending upon the class you are enrolled, in a non-judgmental and safe place. Our mentoring facilitator will engage participants in collaborative discussions on topics that address their physical, mental, and emotional well-being each week. Participants should expect to grow and become their best selves through this process.

Clemency Awareness Program
Through our Clemency Awareness Program, we offer mentoring, counseling, and for a moderate fee, legal aid to address any ongoing challenges or barriers to reintegration. By offering tailored support and guidance, we support individuals with receiving reduced sentences, pardons and the establishment of voting rights. Through this awareness program we hope to promote positive outcomes for individuals seeking to rebuild their lives after incarceration.
